The image to the right is one of the favorite images of human landscape in Germany. Disney's Cinderella's castle is modeled after this castle. This image shows us how humans worked to adapt to the landscape, building into a mountain instead of ruining the land.

The picture to the left might not seem significant, but people from all over the world come to Oktoberfest. One of German's main exports is beer, and this festival brings tourists from everywhere. This is also a part of the German culture; this shapes the regions economy and small business's making the festival crucial to the human landscape in Germany.

The picture on the left is of the Berlin Wall. This wall had originally been set up in order to prevent people from crossing into east or west Berlin after the second war and now stands as a monument for the tough times people had endured, being separated from their loved ones and family. Now the Berlin Wall stands as a powerful reminder of the Cold War and a symbolism for the reunification of Germany, making this important wall a powerful example of human landscape.
